Plans and billing
Billing is per organisation and reachable only by its Owner.
Plans#
Plans are billed monthly or yearly, and each carries a set of features and limits. The plans page shows what is included in each.
The server limit#
The limit that matters day to day is how many servers the plan allows.
If your organisation has more servers than the plan permits, the extras are not deleted — they are locked. A locked server shows in the list with a prompt to upgrade, and its management features are unavailable until you do.
Which servers stay usable is chosen for you: online servers first, newest first. The intent is that the machines actually doing work keep working.
Locking is a panel restriction, not a server one. The sites on that machine keep serving traffic. What you lose is the ability to manage it from CloudPilot until you upgrade or disconnect another server.
Changing plan#
Upgrade from the subscription screen. Locked servers unlock as soon as the new limit covers them.
Cancelling#
Cancel from the same screen. If there is no paid subscription to cancel, the button explains why rather than disappearing — so you can tell "nothing to cancel" from "this is broken".
Cancelling does not delete your servers or projects. You keep access under whatever limits the free tier allows, and anything beyond them locks rather than vanishing.
Invoices#
Transactions are listed under billing, with their status.
Who can see this#
Owners. Admin, DevOps, Developer and Viewer do not have billing.manage, so
billing does not appear for them. That is deliberate — your contractors do not
need your card details. See Roles and permissions.
Raise a ticket and someone will pick it up. Sign in with the same account you use for the panel.
