Glossary
Agent — the small binary on each server that carries out what the panel asks. Dials out; does not listen. More
Approval — the sign-off a protected project needs before a deploy, rollback or delete goes through. More
Audit log — the record of who did what, and when. Readable by every role. More
Change request — a deploy, rollback or delete on a protected project, waiting for approval.
Environment — a label on a project: production, staging or preview. Used for filtering; it does not change how deployment behaves.
Fleet uptime — on the dashboard, the proportion of the last 24 hours your servers were reachable.
Load average — how much work is running or waiting on a machine, over 1, 5 and 15 minutes. Compare it to the CPU count. More
Locked server — a server your plan no longer covers. Still running and still serving; unmanageable from the panel until you upgrade. More
Offline — the agent has stopped reporting. Your sites are probably fine; panel control of that machine is not. More
Organisation — your workspace. Owns servers, projects, team and billing. More
Permission — a single thing someone may do, such as project.deploy. Roles
are bundles of these. More
Protected — a project whose deploys, rollbacks and deletions need a second person's approval. More
Project — one deployable thing on one server. More
Release — one deployed version of a project, in its own directory on the server. Older releases are what rollback uses.
Rollback — repointing the live path at an earlier release. Does not undo database changes. More
Runtime — how a project should be run: static, node_pm2, express,
laravel or docker. More
Server scope — a restriction on which servers someone's role applies to. More
Status page — a public page showing whether your services are up. More
Uptime check — a scheduled probe of a URL from outside, which alerts after repeated failures. More
Raise a ticket and someone will pick it up. Sign in with the same account you use for the panel.
